About the Role:As a Production Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in coaching and developing team members, driving machine efficiency, and ensuring top-notch quality and safety standards.
With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you'll have the opportunity to lead team meetings, problem-solving activities, and implement processes that will shape our production success.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor and control the production process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure production lines and machines run smoothly and without interruption, taking necessary actions to meet targets.Track and analyse daily production outputs, waste, and yield during shifts, adjusting orders as needed to achieve the production plan.Oversee team shift handovers and represent all shifts at daily production team meetings.Establish, communicate, and enforce safety standards, leading corrective actions in high-risk areas.Identify and manage food safety and quality issues, hazards, and risks.Drive inventory management and control efforts.Support GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), housekeeping, and audit standards.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.What We're Looking For:Proven experience managing team shift handovers and participating in cross-shift communication.Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions.A continuous improvement mindset, with the drive to enhance processes and outcomes.Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.Hands-on approach to leadership and operational management.Strong team management and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.If you're passionate about production efficiency, team leadership, and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you
