Job Description: Wall and Floor Tiler Company:J&S Homes Pty Ltd Location: Head office in Tarneit - Job Location Around Victoria Position Type: Full-Time Minimum 38 hours per week Salary: 74000 plus super Start Date: 25 January 2025 About Us: J&S Homes Pty Ltd is a well-established construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality residential and commercial building solutions.

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler (ANZSCO Code 333411) to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining wall and floor tiles in residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities: Tile Preparation and Installation: - Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work.
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, filling cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
- Apply adhesives, waterproofing membranes, and grout according to specifications.
- Cut, shape, and fit tiles using tools such as tile cutters, wet saws, and nippers.
- Quality Assurance: - Ensure all tiling work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Inspect completed work for alignment, uniformity, and cleanliness.
- Safety and Compliance: - Adhere to workplace safety protocols and regulations.
- Properly handle and store tools and materials.
- Problem-Solving: - Identify and resolve issues related to uneven surfaces, tile alignment, and material quality.
- Communication and Reporting: - Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople.
- Provide regular updates on project progress.
--- Qualifications and Skills Requirement: - Experience: - Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects.
- Technical Skills: - Proficient in using hand and power tools related to tiling.
- Strong understanding of materials, adhesives, grouts, and waterproofing techniques.
- Soft Skills: - Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Qualifications: - Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in tiling (Certificate III in wall and Floor tiling).
