Position in a nutshell: As the QLD Commercial Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of the business, targeting contractors and some smaller architects on commercial, hospitality, education, and health projects.
This is a field-based position that requires someone who is willing to work remotely with a locally based State Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Focus on maintaining the existing customer base and documenting a clear business development plan through management of client activities and implementation of agreed company strategies.Identify opportunities that will lead to new sales, focusing on upcoming education, health, multi-residential, hotel, and commercial projects.Utilize your network of Builders, Architects & Designers, and Flooring Contractors to influence our clients' new range.Drive communication of projects in conjunction with the Specification and Business Development team to ensure increasing conversion rates.Leverage internal tools for project tracking and information.Represent the brand at industry functions and entertain clients in social forums.Provide market feedback for input into further product development.Ideal Experience: Proven field sales experience specifically from within the building & construction industry.Relationships with leading Contractors, Builders, Architects, or Designers across the State.Experience in winning business across commercial, health, hospitality, and/or education projects.Stable career history.Hunter mentality.CRM savvy.Ambitious, tenacious, and driven with a real passion for delivering beyond clients' expectations.Candidates who have previously sold tapware, bathrooms, glazing, kitchens, benchtops, appliances, blinds, flooring, carpets, rugs, tiles, furniture, or other high-end interior products would be well regarded.Although this is a client-facing field-based role, there is no office in QLD, so the successful candidate will need to be willing and able to work remotely and meet with their State Manager once a week.Apply Now: We are also looking for showroom sales and various other field sales/A&D positions across VIC, NSW, and QLD - all building materials candidates are encouraged to apply.
