As part of our esteemed culinary group at the prestigious Q Station Hotel, you'll collaborate with some of the industry's finest minds in hospitality, shaping unforgettable guest experiences with every dish.
Under the guidance of our Kitchen Leadership Team, this is ideal for a passionate and energetic chef eager to infuse our multi-outlet venue with their distinctive culinary skills.
The primary focus of this role is our iconic waterfront restaurant, Boilerhouse.
At times, this role may also support our team in banquets during our busier conferencing and events periods.

Key Responsibilities: Participate in the preparation and service of food.Demonstrate strong time management skills during preparation and service periods to meet deadlines and ensure efficiency.Monitor the quality of the product served, ensuring that high standards are maintained.Follow established and consistent cleaning procedures to maintain a sanitary and organised kitchen environment.Comply with HACCP regulations to ensure the hygienic and safe preparation of food.Display genuine passion for cuisine.Assist the Sous Chef in managing restaurant stock and inventory, ensuring accuracy and minimal waste.Effective communication with a large and diverse team.Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and staff.Genuine interest in the day-to-day operations of the business.About Q Station Q Station is located in the heart of Sydney Harbour National Park - Manly, offering a range of incredible experiences from boutique accommodation, stunning wedding venues, modern conference facilities, a waterfront restaurant and Sydney's best ghost and history tours.

Desired Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume premium dining restaurant or venue.Formal qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or above).You are highly organised and able to work under pressure.You demonstrate a clear understanding of culinary trends and customer needs.An understanding of cost and waste management of all food.Excellent interpersonal skills.High level of personal integrity.A capable contributor with good attention to detail.You bring a positive approach to your work and have a calm and composed demeanor.Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.Maintain current Food Handler or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.Maintain a current driver's license.
