Want to elevate your career to a Higher Altitude? Come and join our high performance Jetstar Retail team as a part of dnata catering & retail Asia Pacific. We are seeking a Retail Manager, Jetstar (JQ) for our newly expanded International business partnership with Jetstar Airways in Asia Pacific.
This exciting role is responsible for the delivery of all contracted services within the allocated region, across the Japan, Australia and New Zealand network.
The Retail Manager will manage JQs In-Flight Retail Program, delivering innovation and business improvements, and continuously enhance profit performance and customer satisfaction for the partnership.
This role will suit someone who is able to establish productive working relationships and manage the diverse needs of stakeholders on both sides of the contract, while being able to respectfully negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.
What does a typical day look like? We are looking for an experienced hand, someone who has been either a Retail Manager or Operations Manager with experience managing a national or regional retail program, service or network on behalf of a client.
You will provide leadership and guidance in all key areas across the Retail program.
In a nutshell your main responsibilities are: Ownership of Safety, Security, Quality and Productivity metricsOversee the performance of all dedicated Jetstar teams at your designated portMotivate and inspire team members to build an environment of trust, open communication, and clarity on all goals.Lead and develop strategies to build revenue, achieve quality targets and minimise any risks to the business or partnershipManage close relationships with our supplier partners and customer teams to ensure 'final mile performance' constantly meets and exceeds expectationsReview current business performance cycles and fine-tune efficiencies based on forecasts, reporting and customer analysisManage the safe and efficient delivery of service by cabin crew, flight packing operations by caterers, maximising efficiencies in inventory & weight.Manage localised supply chain, product development and contract managementManage Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance including Food and Aviation Safety, ensuring that all certifications and training are up to date for all team members.Manage On Time Performance (OTP) for our services at your designated portLead, investigate and report on any incidents involving our services, particularly in relation to safety, compliance or financial risk at your designated portAssist our GM Jetstar Retail and our Manager, Operations & Systems to drive strategies, support business goals and manage any assigned projects.What do you need to be successful in this role?
