Psychologist – Residential Rehabilitation – Helensvale QLDPsychologist – Residential Rehabilitation – Helensvale QLD Full time positionOpportunity for professional development and growthCompetitive salary and supportive team cultureACM Healthcare is on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our client's Residential Rehabilitation team in Helensvale.
The Psychologist is responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to clients within the program.
Reporting to the Therapeutic Experience Lead, this role involves collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans, addressing the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural needs of clients.
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to client wellbeing.RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning.Accurately diagnose psychological disorders and conditions relevant to the rehabilitation process.Provide individual and group therapy sessions as needed.Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.Utilise a trauma-informed approach in applying evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and EMDR.Offer crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute psychological distress.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, psychotherapists, social workers, and other allied health professionals to coordinate client care.Develop and implement cognitive rehabilitation programs.Assist clients in managing pain through psychological interventions.Help clients develop the psychological skills necessary for reintegration into work and daily life.Manage a caseload of clients, prioritising needs and coordinating care.MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Clinical or General Psychologist.Strong experience providing psychological services preferably within a residential rehabilitation setting.Competent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.CONTACT:Catherine to discuss this role further or inquire about our other positions available at ORJess to discuss this role further or inquire about our other positions available at #J-18808-Ljbffr
