Second in Charge / 2IC Sparrow Early Learning Ashgrove Fulltime position We are looking for an exceptionally experienced, knowledgeable, welcoming and dedicated Service Manager who: has a deep commitment to play-based Early Childhood Education & Care and is looking for a long-term opportunity is driven by the love of inspiring young minds and creating dynamic & supportive work environments has an inclusive leadership style and will mentor, motivate & empower our team In this 2IC role, you will Support the Service Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Service in line with company policies and procedures, meeting compliance and operation targets. You will model creativity and innovation, motivate, and lead a team of Educators to create a positive and fun working space In this role you will design and implement engaging learning programs and work collaboratively while also providing confident support and motivation within your team of Educators.
You will also maintain excellent relationships with families, children and team members. Our relationships with families and children is of utmost importance to us and we strive to support our families and children to feel part of our Somerville Cottage family.
Our centre prides itself on a warm friendly atmosphere that has often been referred to as an extension of the home.
We aim to provide care that compliments and extends the home life, supporting families to meet their child's needs to the best of our ability.
What you'll need: Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care Minimum 2 years experience in a current Second in Charge role Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, Current Working with Children Check First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.. Confidence when communicating with all levels of management.
