About the role ? Exciting opportunity for an experienced Collections Officer to work on a 12-month fixed term basis (with potential for permanency) to contribute to the success of the Company by directly ensuring that the company's cash flow is optimised, and bad debt minimised.

Full-time position Day-to-day, you will: ? Work in a fast-paced, high-volume Customer Contact Centre environment Contact customers to obtain payment of overdue accounts, exercising care and compassion to assist with payment solutions Resolve complex credit issues and manage customer queries within target time frames Minimise potential bad debts and refer them to external debt collection companies This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: ? Prior experience working in a collections contact centre is highly desirable Knowledge in credit management generally including collection techniques such as negotiation skills Outcome-focused, target-driven, with experience in high-volume, low-value transactions Authentic, empathetic, and passionate about customer service, solving problems without escalation Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels Proficient in PC systems, including Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel) Ability to work autonomously to find solutions that benefit both the business and the customer If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
