Reporting to the Head of Finance – Reporting & Compliance, the Financial Accounting Team Leader is the go-to person, driving financial compliance and ensuring the success of the reporting team.

What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and inspire the Financial Accounting team to reach their full potentialFoster a culture of innovation, engagement, and teamworkOwn the End of Month (EOM) and End of Year (EOY) financial reporting processesOversee external audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance—accuracy is keyEnsure precise management of assets and liabilities, with oversight of the Fixed Asset RegisterKeep the General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations up to date and in line with AASB standardsEnsure 100% compliance with internal controls, policies, and legislative requirementsContinuously improve financial processes, driving efficiency and growthAd hoc tasks as directed by the Head of Finance. About You
Ideally, you will be a qualified CA/CPA with a strong track record in leadership and financial management.
You bring expertise in financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and statutory compliance, paired with exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

You excel at mentoring and motivating your team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
Your ability to communicate complex financial data clearly and effectively is a key strength.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with Epicor software is advantageous.
Experience in Residential Aged Care is highly regarded but not required.
Above all, you are a strategic thinker dedicated to driving results and continuous improvement.
