You will lead a small team of HR and Safety professionals and be an integral member of the Compass leadership team at the hospital.THE POSITIONMobilisation Phase:Assist with workforce transition, recruitment, and onboarding.Support the development of training program delivery.Collaborate with People Support to implement record management systems.Ensure compliance with safety processes and culture.Make a significant contribution to recruitment across all service streams.Operational Phase:Handle investigations, complaints, and ensure policy adherence.Coach and mentor managers on performance management and HR processes.Act as the first point of contact for Union inquiries.Oversee performance reviews, training administration, and audit compliance.Support recruitment for talent attraction strategies and maintain staff pipelines.Provide HR support, resolve employee queries, and lead safety initiatives.Work with the leadership team in developing and implementing people and safety strategies.THE PERSONMinimum of 5 years' generalist HR experience, ideally in blue-collar or healthcare environments.Proven experience coaching and mentoring managers.Demonstrated experience with Employment Relations and Industrial Relations.Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field are highly desirable.Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and provide proof of immunity for vaccine-preventable diseases.THE BENEFITSMultitude of salary packaging options available.Opportunities for professional development and growth.12 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers.Apply now or contact ****** or call 1300TALENT for a confidential discussion.
