We use an individualised patient-centred approach that aims to meet the goals and outcomes mutually identified by the individual, their family, and therapy staff.The Role:The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Rehabilitation will work within an Acute / Primary Health Care Framework, Agency policies, legal requirements, and professional competencies.
Responsibilities include:Provide professional advanced clinical leadership and expertise in the delivery of clinical advice, assessments, and interventions based on best practice in the health care management of individuals requiring rehabilitation services.Maintain a comprehensive network with community and support groups and develop professional collaborative linkages with other health professionals across acute and community sectors.Implement evidence-based practices through teaching, research, policy and protocol development, and direct example within the practice setting.Details of Appointment:Fixed term, part-time day worker position, working up to 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from February 2025 until January 2026.
Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 pro rata, per annum, with an 11.5% superannuation contribution on top of this amount.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range of $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.In addition, the following allowances may be available:Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.Benefits available to eligible candidates:Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.Professional development and accelerated pathways.Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible.Fitness Passport – access to 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria, including being registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.Application Process:We encourage you to review the Statement of Duties and Applicant Guide prior to applying for an overview of the duties, program, selection process, and application guidance.
