My specialist practice client presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to join their clinic based near Norwood.
It is essential you have strong leadership skills and experience managing a medical practice.
Ideally, you will have the ability to provide strategic direction to oversee the daily business operations of the practice and demonstrate leadership to the high-performing team to provide the best experience for their patients.
The Responsibilities Include:
Maintaining and improving practice procedures and systems for efficacy and overall patient experience Providing leadership support and direction for a team of reception and medical staff Providing rostering and assistance to the Reception team to ensure coverage at all times with the ability to handle any difficult patient enquiries or issues in a professional manner Managing the recruitment process and training of new team members Providing professional and competent support to the specialists and allied health professionals, including management of scheduling, appointments and billings Driving business growth and ensuring ongoing financial control with consideration for profitability growth Managing Practice billings and liaising with Medicare and Private Health contacts when required Identifying any areas of improvement to drive operational efficiency Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies Overseeing office inventory and the ordering of medical and office supplies Maintaining a positive working environment by being approachable and promptly addressing any issues that may arise within the team Conducting regular staff meetings and performance reviews as needed in conjunction with Practice Directors
Ideally You Will Have:
A focus on patient care and providing a personalised service to patients and families A warm, friendly, respectful and professional manner to ensure the best patient experience at all times Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support staff as needed The ability to work autonomously and efficiently Experience with booking theatre lists with the ability to assist the specialists with minor procedures The ability to coordinate the Practice administration The ability to multitask with excellent administrative skills and be highly organised Motivation to drive new initiatives and efficient processes Proficient experience in the use of IT and communication systems Experience in Gentu and an accounting package, Xero will be highly regarded A minimum of 2 years experience managing a private medical practice (preferably a surgical practice)
