Our Spa Attendants are the heart of our business providing important services such as greeting our regular users and potential new members in accordance with our established operational routines and procedures. The primary responsibility of our Spa Attendant is to deliver first class service to our members and guests at the Higher State - Melbourne Airport.
Our team takes pride in maintaining the facilities to an exceptional standard of our group of businesses. You may also assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
These tasks may include however not limited to;
Monitoring customers in the pool - Lifeguarding and pool water testingRetrieving stock deliveriesTouring and welcoming members and guestsSometimes helping with membership signup (not sales perse)Supporting the spa therapist with linenCleaningStock management - rolling towels, filling soap dispensersSafety equipment checks including First aid checksExperienced attendants are invited to join our fabulous team. You must be available weekends and some midweek days. (Some weekend only positions are also available).
Our Spa operates 7 days a week, 10am to 8pm, we will be able to provide a flexible rotating roster.
Successful applicants will require: Working With Children CheckPolice CheckFirst Aid Level 2Current CPRCurrent Pool Lifeguard CertificateLegal working rights in AustraliaIf you do not hold these qualifications, you must be willing to obtain. The Venue The Higher State is located within the Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport, a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel which opened on 1 July 2024.
The Novotel Melbourne Airport with 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport with 216 rooms, will be located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport. Guests will enjoy access to a fitness centre, conference rooms, pool, co working space and a number of food & beverage venues which form the hub of the mixed-use precinct.
This will be a village centre supporting the airport community as a place to gather and socialise for everyone who travels and works from the airport precinct.
