Sales Director

Our client is an established global technology business based in Sydney. They are looking to hire a Sales Director to join, take full ownership of the sales & marketing function, lead the go to market strategy and drive new business growth. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned Sales Director to join and make a huge impact in the business' next phase. This role is 20% hands-on sales with the rest of your responsibilities focused on leadership, training/mentoring, strategic planning, market research, networking events, etc.Requirements:Proven commercial sales leadership and management experienceProven track record achieving sales targetsProven experience growing and expanding sales teamsB2B, enterprise & mid-market sales experienceCreating and maintaining strong team moraleStrong internal & external stakeholder management skillsExperience developing strong go to market strategiesExperience managing a large sales function (20+ team)Large corporate enterprise working environmentGuiding marketing teams to generate content, leads & eventsHighly Desirable:Experience leading or managing marketing teamsExperience working in a large or global enterprise corporateExperience working within a heavily regulated or strict compliance industryProfessional services or consulting industry experienceNon-technical requirements:Strong communication skills, able to speak with stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrate diplomacy in difficult situationsResolve internal & external conflict whilst remaining level headedStrategic sales mindsetHigh commitment to quality (no shortcuts)Team player, support and guide peersProactive and critical thinkerBenefits:Global industry market leaderSuite of employee benefitsLong standing team members and employeesStable and established global businessJoin a talented team who work with best practicesPositive and supportive team cultureFlexible working environmentCompetitive salary with OTE bonusesThe salary on offer is $170,000 to $200,000 plus super & bonus depending on experience.
