Forensic Engineer Reporting to the Manager of Engineering Services, this role will see you undertake and prepare Forensic Engineering Investigations and reports including site inspections, assessments, and reporting on causation of damage and remediation, for insurance claims or asset/building owners or other expert reporting services.
What are my accountabilities?
Inspect and assess the condition of existing buildings and structures for structural/building assessments Forensic and expert witness reporting Identifying design and construction defects with reference to code and damage causation Collecting data using photographic equipment Accurate and detailed recording of data whilst on site Provide timely feedback to relevant customers on issues that have been identified About you
Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering Member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust) or Chartered Engineer and/or Registered on the National Engineers Register (NER).
Experience within the building or insurance industry ideal.
