Closer Care is seeking a passionate Client Support Manager to empower participants and their families while scheduling vital supports.

By 2025, Closer Care envisions pioneering excellence in disability support, with our impact spanning across NSW touching countless lives, and we need a high-performing Client Relations Leader to contribute to making this goal a reality.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves managing inbound and outbound calls to handle queries, bookings, and requests, as well as overseeing roster management and staff allocation to ensure participants are matched with suitable team members.
You will onboard new participants, replace absent staff in the roster, and collaborate with participants to schedule support staff aligned with their needs and preferences.
Key duties include training staff on participant requirements and strategies, reviewing work practices through feedback from participants and stakeholders, and fostering a culture of coaching and capacity building.
The Client Relations Leader will play a key role in supporting participants beyond service provision, helping them build resilience and strengthen connections with their community and broader support systems.
The position requires updating support plans, risk assessments, and service agreements and consent forms, ensuring seamless handovers and guiding participants and staff through challenges.
Incorporating Child Safe Standards and reporting any risks or harm to participants, including children, is a critical responsibility.
You will also need to ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines.
This role is ideal for a proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented individual committed to improving participant outcomes and supporting staff to deliver exceptional care.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge and experience in the NDIS and disability sector.
Tertiary qualifications in healthcare or management.
Strong organisational leadership and management skills.
Exceptional sales and participant onboarding skills.
Exceptional collaborative, relationship-building, and networking skills.
Diploma in Disability or Community Services.
5+ years of leadership and management in disability services.
NDIS expertise.
Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
Ability to excel under pressure.
Problem-solving prowess.
Autonomy and teamwork balance.
Time management and prioritisation finesse.
Proficiency in systems, automations, and Brevity Care.
