The Intensive Trauma Treatment Centre (ITTC) is exactly what the name suggests – an intensive treatment program for people struggling with posttraumatic stress and associated conditions.
The ITTC is staffed by senior psychologists experienced in delivering prolonged imaginal exposure (PE), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and EMDR 2.0 to treat posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex-PTSD, and associated conditions (e.g., adjustment disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, major depression, persistent depression).We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee the Centre's day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless strategic support to the Head of Clinical and contributing to our mission of delivering holistic and effective care.
This role sits above the Medical Administrator and reports directly to the Head of Clinical.About the RoleThe Operations Manager will take a leadership role in managing the administrative and operational functions of the ITTC.
You will ensure efficient systems and workflows, lead the administrative team, and support the Centre's strategic goals by optimising operations in alignment with our clinical priorities.
A core component of the role includes ensuring compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and other relevant healthcare regulations, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations to ensure the Centre runs smoothly and efficiently.Develop and implement operational procedures in collaboration with the Head of Clinical.Supervise administration staff, providing mentorship and guidance.Ensure staff training, development, and performance align with ITTC's values and objectives.Provide operational leadership in streamlining workflows, including client intake, appointment scheduling, billing, and reporting.Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, confidentiality policies, and data protection regulations.Manage financial data including budgets, billing systems, and expense tracking.Collaborate with the Head of Clinical and senior psychologists to align operations with clinical needs.Act as the point of contact for external stakeholders, including partners, funding bodies, and suppliers.Ensure all processes adhere to relevant healthcare and workplace regulations.About YouYou are a dynamic and organised leader with a strong operational mindset and the ability to thrive in a healthcare, preferably a mental health environment.
