Formed in 2018, the Kinrise portfolio covers Biscuits, Breakfast, Baking, Bakery, and Snackfood categories and has 40+ years making iconic Australian food, with a rich Australian heritage that's grounded in family origins.The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Lead to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the exciting opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
In this newly created role, you will report directly to the Head of IT implementing and managing IT Infrastructure to ensure security, suitability, and optimal performance for Kinrise, Kin, and the Geminder Family across multiple sites and teams nationwide.What's in it for you?Based in South Yarra, Melbourne, with the requirement to travel between sites, you'll be at the forefront of driving technology infrastructure excellence across cloud, networks, and systems.
Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, you will deliver secure, high-performance solutions that support Kinrise's vision for growth.
Beyond technical expertise, you'll lead initiatives that enhance business efficiency, empower a dynamic workforce, and foster a culture of growth and innovation.How you will make a difference:Proven delivery of commercial and performance-driven solutions for cloud, end-user computing, server, network, and servicesManage core architecture and global administrative functions (Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Core Infrastructure, Storage, Backup, Disaster Recovery, Telephony, Collaboration Platforms, Network and Security, End-user computing, and Factory infrastructure)Collaborate with IT Support Vendors and the infrastructure team to deliver projects and improve support and project outcomesAnalyse costs, value, and risks of infrastructure setup and configuration to identify and implement cost, security, and upgrade initiativesOversee IT Asset management, documentation, licensing, and vendor managementManage the Helpdesk and Infrastructure team, including IT specialists and Managed services providersCoordinate and collaborate with Geminder Family companies on infrastructure and support needsProvide services across 9 sites and 680 staff nationally, and 50 staff across KinGroupWhat you'll bring to Kinrise:7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and project managementExpertise in technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and security platforms (e.g., Zscaler, Defender), Apple devices via IntuneStrong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience managing geographically dispersed teams and working in high-pressure, fast-paced environmentsProven ability to build strong relationships, influence decisions, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and contractors, demonstrating a consistent track record of ownership and delivering resultsA growth mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organizationIf you're passionate about technology, thrive in dynamic environments, and are ready to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.Why Join Us?Kinrise is a fast-paced, agile business that focuses on your talents and challenges you to perform at your best.
