IT Operations & Cyber Security Supervisor The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) are the caretakers of Perth's cemeteries, entrusted to commemorate the lives of Western Australians now and into the future.

We have one permanent full-time position available for an experienced IT Operations & Cyber Security Supervisor at Karrakatta Cemetery. About you You will have a proven track record managing complex IT hardware and software environments, and the cybersecurity controls to meet our current and future needs.You are already a team leader, capable of managing a team undergoing significant change, with the technical expertise to lead by example in the management of network and communication administration, and help desk support services, across multiple geographies.You can confidently provide cybersecurity that protects our IT infrastructure, data and networks; establish controls to prevent data breaches; and respond to cyber-attacks should they occur.You align with our values of Compassion, Respect, Understanding and Integrity.About the role We are seeking an energetic leader with the technical competence to manage our complex information environment securely, and the process management expertise to deliver significant, controlled change across the Agency.
The IT Operations & Cyber Security Supervisor will be responsible for:
Managing our risk exposure from significant, high consequence changes we are making to our digital environment.Conducting stakeholder engagement and leading change management processes to ensure controlled delivery of continuous improvement initiatives with high visibility and support.Implementing improvements to our IT operations and cybersecurity in line with WA Government Essential 8 and other requirements.Leading a small team by example to ensure high availability and secure IT assets and partner-supplied services.Leading the IT Service Support team and demonstrating an ongoing commitment to staff development.Why you want to work at the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board The MCB is an organisation with heart.
