Pharmacist Senior

Pharmacy Department are looking for a Senior Pharmacist to join their team.
The purpose of this role is to provide senior pharmacy services within the Cardiothoracic Pre-Admission Clinic for patients preparing for elective cardiothoracic surgery.
This includes delivering high-quality, evidence-based pharmacy services as part of an interprofessional team.
The role also involves contributing to the advancement of pharmacy services and patient care through service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.

About the RoleThis position requires monitoring and evaluating work practices and outcomes, including initiating and overseeing relevant quality and research initiatives.Continually develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through self-directed learning, active learning within a team environment and engaging in professional development activities, including participating in the performance appraisal and development plans.Initiate the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of quality and service improvement and/or research activities that enhance the delivery of pharmacy services.Demonstrated high level of knowledge, expertise and skill in delivering medication management and pharmacy clinical services to patients within the cardiothoracic pre-admission clinic.Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.
