Technical Sales Representative

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team with a focus on Rail Components.Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced full-time Technical Sales Representative to develop and maintain key stakeholders, drive business growth in both freight and passenger rail sectors, and provide technical expertise to end customers and manufacturers.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the rail industry, including suppliers, manufacturers, and end-users.Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share within the rail sector.Provide technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.Provide price quotes, negotiate payment terms, finalize sales agreements, document orders, coordinate order deliveries, follow up on customer needs, track competitor activity, generate sales reports, and conduct post-sales check-ins with clients.Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, ensuring profitability and growth.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the industrial products or rail sector.Comprehensive knowledge of rail componentry and associated industrial products (highly desirable).Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.What We Offer:Competitive salary packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentA collaborative and innovative work environmentHow to Apply:Submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications.
