Senior Financial Accountant

Full timeThis role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and executing the consolidation and tax effect accounting processes. The successful candidate will have the chance to provide technical accounting expertise across the group, support finance governance activities, and contribute to the enhancement of financial reporting. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to take on new challenges.What you'll do:As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will be responsible for executing the consolidation and tax effect accounting processes across the group. Your role will also involve preparing all group statutory reporting obligations and providing technical accounting expertise as needed. You will support group finance governance activities and work closely with the ERP support team to ensure efficient production of required reporting. Additionally, you will share and cascade company vision, strategy, and objectives to your team.Ensure delivery of quality and timely financial reporting of the groupExecute the consolidation and tax effect accounting processesPrepare all group statutory reporting obligationsProvide technical accounting expertise as requiredSupport group finance governance activitiesWork with the ERP support team to ensure efficient production of required reportingShare and cascade company vision, strategy, and objectives to own teamWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Senior Financial Accountant position is degree qualified in accounting/finance or a similar field, CA/CPA qualified, and has a minimum of 6 years work experience gained in a global/multi-national company or 'Big-4' environment. You should have strong knowledge and practical experience in the application of IFRS. Advanced MS Excel skills are essential for this role. You should be a self-starter with an ability to manage competing priorities and deliver required outcomes.
