National Business ManagerRequisition ID: 6056Introducing Suntory OceaniaBy harnessing the best of Suntory from across Australia and New Zealand, Suntory Global Spirits and Suntory Beverage and Food Oceania have come together to create a new $3bn multi-beverage powerhouse - Suntory Oceania.Underpinned by 40 market-leading brands, quality craftsmanship and a strong sense of purpose, our business is set to become the fourth largest player in the market.The partnership will be powered by two local manufacturing sites, six distribution centres and more than 1500 driven and diverse Suntorians.The OpportunityWe're bringing the best of Suntory to Oceania and building a best-in-class Sales team for our brand new Australian licensed function working with brands, including Jim Beam and Maker's Mark Bourbon, Hibiki Japanese Whisky, Canadian Club Whisky, and -196.This role offers something unique and career defining. Joining the business in the build phase you will work as part of the team to establish process and ways of working before our official launch in 2025 The role of National Business Manager is critical in leading the delivery of joint business plans to deliver profitable growth for your key Independent customers, across category, marketing and in-store/venue excellence.Key responsibilities include:Create and deliver Joint Business Plan in collaboration with customerWork closely with the Head of Channel as custodians of the relationship with the customerFull P&L responsibility for your assigned customer, including nett sales, gross profit and market shareResponsible for delivery of base and over and above promotional programs to assist in the achievement of sales objectives, company channel & brand strategiesLead business review with customer to identify opportunities in ranging, distribution and promotional activities. Work closely with Category & Marketing to deliver outstanding category and shopper best in class executionNegotiate and foster trading relationships with terms that optimise resultsChannel planning – Off/On Premise support and contribute to the long-and-short term business plansWork closely with cross functional teams to own future financial forecast & demand planWhat's in your toolkitWe're looking for an individual with a strong track record of success in a Senior Sales or Account Management role within the Licensed space. You will need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with success in developing and implementing joint strategic sales plans. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are a given.
