We're looking for a new IT Service Engineer to join our Technology team in Melbourne.

As an IT Service Engineer, your role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house ICT systems that support core organisational functions across the Heartland business.
You will provide onsite support to our Melbourne office and remotely support our wider Heartland businesses.
You'll achieve this by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimising all (but not limited to) ICT hardware, networks, telephony, communications, software, desktop and printing, local and enterprise applications and associated operating systems as required across the Heartland business.
You'll provide 1st and 2nd level technical services and support for Heartland's group ICT operations.
This role is actively involved in the support of Heartland WAN, LAN, hardware, server and client operating systems and applications.

You're an individual with proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues by providing knowledgeable assistance to internal customers.
You're known for being friendly and are great to deal with, and also skilled in IT service delivery.
You've got:
Demonstrated experience in a service desk and/or desktop support role or more complex IT environment The ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards Proven technical knowledge of PC operating systems Proficiency in using ticketing systems such as Jira, ZenDesk, ManageEngine, etc.
Hands-on experience and knowledge in Office365, Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint.
You're also:
A team player A strong communicator - both verbally and in writing A problem solver who can work at pace and use initiative Able to prioritise escalations effectively and be flexible when required to accommodate change Someone who is able to consider issues from a range of angles and propose creative solutions that assist the business in achieving its goals in a safe, compliant and controlled manner Self-motivated, wanting to upskill themselves.
Relevant industry specific qualifications in the following technologies are preferred:
