With a focus on seamless integration of light into the built environment, they are dedicated to creating impactful lighting solutions that enhance spaces. Position Overview:As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of expanding our presence within the lighting industry.
Your role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, and electrical engineers, ensuring our products are specified into major projects.
You'll leverage your expertise in the specification process to identify opportunities and tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of each project. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Nurture Relationships: Engage with architects, designers, specifiers, and electrical engineers to understand their project needs and promote our innovative lighting solutions. Specification Sales: Drive the specification of our lighting products into commercial, residential, and public projects, ensuring our solutions are the go-to choice for professionals. Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and key market trends, developing strategic partnerships to expand our presence across multiple sectors, including commercial, hospitality, and residential. Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with technical, project management, and product development teams to ensure client needs are met with tailored lighting solutions. Provide Expert Advice: Act as a trusted advisor, offering technical support and guidance on product specifications, design integration, and lighting technology advancements. Achieve Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales targets, tracking market activity and providing regular updates on sales forecasts and performance metrics. Qualifications: Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the lighting, architecture, design, or electrical engineering industries. Strong understanding of the specification process and experience working with architects, designers, and specifiers. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with industry professionals. A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong focus on client satisfaction. Relevant qualifications in architecture, engineering, or business are advantageous.
