Full-time Position Company Overview Quest Apartment Hotels is the largest and fastest growing serviced apartment brand in Australasia with a network of over 160 franchised properties across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the UK.
Quest leads the market in providing accommodation solutions for the extended stay corporate traveller among Australia's top 500 corporates and is well positioned for further expansion in line with a JV partnership with global hotel group, The Ascott Limited.
Quest Frankston on the Bay is a 78-room property located in the heart of Frankston CBD and a 2-minute walk to the waterfront.
The property opened in 2013 and has undergone a refurbishment, making it the most contemporary accommodation choice in Frankston.
Position Overview Quest Frankston on the Bay has recently moved under new ownership and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join under new leadership.
This is a full-time permanent position. The Role Reporting directly to the Franchisee, this key role involves identifying and attracting corporate clients, driving engagement with and loyalty to the Quest brand, developing and acting on sales and marketing plans, identifying and engaging with existing and potential local area accounts, and collaborating with the front office and Corporate Office teams (sales, revenue, distribution, marketing, and digital) to optimize sales outcomes.
The role also includes occasional after-hours activities, such as attending and hosting networking events and property familiarizations to showcase Quest Frankston on the Bay and the Quest brand.
The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, sales-focused individual with a passion for developing and nurturing win-win relationships with clients and colleagues.
Enthusiasm for selling is key, along with strong time management, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, and a friendly, mature approach to work.
A proven track record of achieving sales outcomes in a business-to-business environment is essential, and strong knowledge of the industry in the Mornington Peninsula region would be a distinct advantage.
A current driver's license and own vehicle are required.
While not essential, qualifications in a business discipline or the hospitality, travel, or tourism industries would be highly regarded, as would prior sales experience in a hotel environment.
