The role: The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice:Works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.Assists the NUM with the planning and management of staff and resources and provides operational leadership through the coordination of the day to day patient care activities, including patient flow.The team: We promote a Nurse led Outpatient clinical environment.Join a supportive team, providing patient centred care for Renal patients.Great work life balance with every Sunday off; open 6 days a week Monday to Saturday, inclusive of morning and afternoon shifts, rotational on call is a requirement for this position.Details of Appointment: Permanent, full time, shift-worker position working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.
Note: hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary: Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.
Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Minimum Requirements: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).Registration / licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.
It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration / licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change.Desirable Criteria: Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications.Pre-employment Checks: The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
