National Service & Parts Manager – Mobile EquipmentSkip to content52 years in selling equipment, this original equipment leader has tested the time but has been through some of the toughest markets we have all faced.

With offices listed throughout all of NSW and country NSW, and over 150 staff just in Sydney, the business is growing at tremendous speed.
Now is the time to join this leader as the company and staff are ready for growth over the next 5 years.Job Opportunity –This operation moves and operates at twice the speed of its competitors.
We are looking for someone that can control and manage this operation and implement and drive structure throughout the business.
They build three times the number of machines compared to John Deere, Hitachi, or Tutts.
This is because of the size of the operation and the number of reps they have in the field, which is nearly double the size of most businesses around Sydney.
They are market leaders but also hold market share 2, 3, and 4 in other machine classes.The service operation for this business is massive, and we need a proven Service Manager that can hold down the pressure while working with the internal management to succeed and win the hearts and minds of the long-term staff.
Your goal will be to coordinate and oversee the entire Service and Parts operation and all branch operations throughout NSW and ACT.To give you a breakdown of this role, the overall scope is as follows:28x techs in the workshops12x Field Service Techs6x Office admin4x Admin10x PartsYou will also have the parts department working with you and senior management.
It is your job to understand and know exactly what is happening on the floor at any time.
With new equipment getting delivered, service problems, parts issues, warranty problems, stock availability, breakdowns, service issues, lack of staff, recruitment of new staff, training, trucks being unloaded, and the general running of the operation, your day is 100% on the go and non-stop, and you need to make sure you are always on it.This role is hard work, and we need a superstar that not only has run a busy workshop but can also handle the pressure.
Look at the operation and make improvements through business management.
With a new IT system going and up-to-date on time servicing, the business needs a proven leader.
This role has a 2-year expectancy due to the stress and pressure that comes with it.
You will need to have a strong handle on the operation while also managing your management team.
It is critical that you know exactly what is happening on the workshop floor at any one time, from new builds, used equipment, parts support, technical support, machine deliveries, down to the smallest of issues with customers.
We need a proven Operation/Service Manager that knows what it takes to run a fast-paced, busy operation.Candidate RequirementsIn this role, you need to have a strong service management aptitude and be passionate about providing technical support through the branch channels.
You're going to be dealing with all walks of life within Australia.
You need to be able to change your direction and have a strong level of professional courtesy, with skills to get people to always listen to you.
You must be driven to succeed and renowned for your strategic business thinking, technical expertise, and solution-focused approach, encompassed by your ability to deliver exceptional customer service and technical strategies.
The focus of the role is to develop and deliver high-quality customer service and make a mark in the industry.Key Attributes –Must have experience working as a National or Service Manager.If you have worked for privately owned companies, this would be of massive interest.You must be able to show that you have run a larger workshop.
We are open to looking at automotive, trucks, forklifts, or anything similar.
The key here is that you can handle the pressure and add value when it's busy.You must be living in Sydney and have worked for an Australian OEM or dealership.This opportunity offers a salary package of base + car + superannuation, tools of trade, and company expenses.
There are staff days, customer field days, and conferences.
