This is the job for you- Excellent salary - Up to $130k plus super- Successful business offering secure employment- Supportive team - work closely with the DirectorsThe roleMy client is a house builder using modern construction methods to build attractive and innovative homes, many of which are custom homes.
They are looking for a Drafting Team Leader to oversee the drafting team including both in house and outsourced draftspeople as they produce the construction documentation.
Duties will include: Working closely with the in-house Architect on custom projectsManaging workflow of the drafting teamLiaison with the pre-con team to ensure the projects move promptly to constructionQuality control of the work of the Drafting teamReporting to the Operations ManagerAbout youIt is essential that the person fits the culture of the business - My client is committed to maintaining their position as an innovative builder who prioritises the needs of clients - It is important that you share this drive and want to excel personally in your career.
They want unselfish staff who are open about their strengths and weaknesses so they can work as a team to improve over time.
They want people who have empathy for those around them and support colleagues appropriately.You must be an ArchiCAD user who has experience working in a similar role for an Australian housebuilder.
You must have the right to work in Australia, and have excellent communication skills as you will be leading a team and managing the design briefing process with the client.
