About the RoleIRT is investing in our leadership capability and we are looking for a Hospitality Team Leader to lead the planning, ordering, preparation and compliance of our site-based food service, laundry and cleaning operations.
This is an exciting Full Time position, based at our IRT Thomas Holt Kirrawee site.
Your work will include: Leading, mentoring and supervising hospitality employees, including reviewing performanceResponsibility for the planning, ordering and overseeing the preparation of all meals (complying with resident dietary requirements) and light refreshments to ensure residents enjoy a quality food experienceEnsuring food safety documentation is complete and that all work practices meet HACCP requirements.
Ensure all corrective actions are completed with specified timeframesEnsuring deliveries are received and processed in accordance with IRT food safety planMonitoring IRT cleaning contractor team members to ensure cleaning standards are metEnsure the management and delivery of hospitality services meets Aged Care Quality Standards and is in line with IRT's policies and proceduresParticipating in the recruitment, selection and orientation of team members in line with IRT's policies and proceduresTo Be Successful You Will HaveCertificate IV in HospitalityCertificate IV in Leadership & ManagementFood Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Proven experience in a similar roleSound verbal, written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated problem solving, negotiating and organisational skillsAbility to plan and prioritise own work and/or work of others to meet deadlinesDemonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Food Safety StandardsBenefits for YouCompetitive pay and more cash in your pocket (less tax) with not-for-profit salary packagingFlexible working conditionsBirthday leave - relax and take a day off on usProfessional and career development opportunitiesMultiple career pathwaysDiscounted gym membershipsFree counselling via Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and staff wellness programHow to ApplyIf you feel this is the right role for you, we'd love to hear from you
