Zenith Energy is one of Australia's leading independent power producers, specializing in tailored off-grid hybrid power generation solutions.
With a portfolio spanning Western Australia and the Northern Territory, Zenith has a contracted capacity of more than 500MW of power generation.
With sites currently in construction and several more in the planning stages, we are expanding our capabilities to meet the growing demand for remote renewable energy solutions.

About the role
This full-time Area Manager role reports directly to the Operations Manager.
The right candidate is responsible for the overall operations and performance of Zenith Energy's Hybrid Power Stations in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

What you'll be doing
Manage Zenith Energy Power Stations' business operations and serve clients within the assigned region in consultation with operational support functions and personnel.
Manage monthly billing and metering activities related to Power Purchase Agreements.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels to fulfill PPA obligations.
Integrate operations, maintenance, asset management, engineering, and business functions for ongoing improvement.
Collaborate with the Asset Management team for maintenance planning.
Develop and monitor operations and maintenance budgets with the Operations Manager.
Ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and the environment by client and company standards.
Guarantee staff compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Manage operations per company policies, legislation, and client requirements.
Provide leadership on-site to cultivate a strong local culture and team spirit.
Oversee the performance and development of the on-site team.
Conduct timely reviews of staff contracts and performance assessments.
Provide necessary training for staff, both internally and for clients.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
What we're looking for
Minimum 10 years' post-trade experience in power station operations and management, preferably in the mining, resources, or energy sectors (FIFO operations).
Mechanical or electrical trade qualification is a minimum requirement Degree-level qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Qualification in Leadership or Management would be desirable.
Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to deliver high-performance, safety-focused power generation operations.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
Strong commercial acumen, including budget management, procurement, and contract negotiation experience.
Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commitment to continuous improvement and a safety-first mindset.
