This is a unique role with its mix of technical know-how and customer service focus, which supports our business by providing customers an excellent experience - both before they buy and after they use our products and services.
It is all about giving customers an easy, trouble-free, and enjoyable experience.
We are seeking someone who is looking for a career change from an Industrial/welding trade or a driven counter assistant with a willingness to learn.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for promoting our full range of gases, welding, and safety equipment to a diverse range of customers.
What you will enjoy doing Making a valued contribution to a diverse and inclusive team who are passionate about what they do with a strong focus on the safety of self and others.What makes you great Previous retail and/or trade experience looking to get a break from the tools.Worked with, or willingness to learn and interest in welding and industrial products.Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must.You will have industrial and safety equipment knowledge or experience in a retail sales environment.Strong focus on customer service is required for this role.In addition, you are confident in presenting our wide product & service range to our customers.Strong verbal and written communication skills.You have a Forklift license or willingness to acquire one is essential.Why you will love working with us At South Pacific Welding Group (SPW), we specialize in welding equipment, consumables, service, and hire.
