We're on the lookout for driven, collaborative individuals who are ready to make an impact in the pharmaceutical sales industry and align with our core values of integrity, collaboration, and the highest levels of customer-service.The role & responsibilities:Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and orthoptists in your assigned territory.Present and detail ophthalmic products effectively to healthcare professionals, demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and clinical benefits.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales objectives.Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to expand market presence.Provide educational support and training to healthcare providers, ensuring optimal product understanding and utilisation.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and clinical advancements within the ophthalmology field.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to align strategies and share market insights.Maintain compliance with Medicines Australia guidelines and internal company policies.Accurately document and report sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.This is a 12 month FTC position with the view to commence in January 2025.Skills & Experience:Completion of Medicines Australia certification.A life sciences or equivalent tertiary degree.A minimum of 3 years' experience as a medical sales representative.Previous experience in ophthalmology sales or related medical fields.Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.Benefits & perks:Competitive salary package, generous motor vehicle allowance and performance-based incentives.Exclusive discounts on our consumer health, wellness and beauty products.Free membership to 28 by Sam Wood, an online program designed to help Aussies get fit at home.We are a values-driven business fostering a supportive and friendly team culture.Enjoy the ability to work autonomously, empowering you to drive your own success.Opportunity to grow your career across all divisions within DBG Health.At FarmaForce, this isn't just a job – it's the opportunity to build a rewarding career where you play a key role in our shared success that results in the betterment of health for others.
