You represent Fairmont Century Plaza with enthusiasm and pride, providing exceptional service and attention for each guest you encounter.
You are energetic and confident, and will encourage your teammates to achieve and be positive while being entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the best possible experience for your guests at all times in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner.
The Overnight Cleaner at Fairmont Century Plaza is responsible for ensuring the smooth overnight maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel's public areas, guest spaces, and operational facilities.
This position includes performing deep-cleaning tasks, maintaining cleaning standards, and supporting the overall presentation of the property to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
What you will be doing: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisorsAssist the Supervisor in completion of special requests or miscellaneous projectsDeep clean and keep orderly all assigned public areas; use odor controls as necessaryComplete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision following a routine schedule of cleaningSign in and out master keys, radios/mobile electronics dailyUtilize Hotel's technology and communication platforms to ensure hotel operation and guest satisfactionRemove trash from public areas (Offices, Cubicles, Desks/Stands, Lobby, restrooms, patios, pool, etc.
)Empty trash in all public areas and clean public restroomsRestock public restrooms with necessary supplies for proper sanitation and standardsStock, clean and organize all janitorial storages, ensuring they are supplied with necessary items to quickly address liquid/solid spills, trash, and stocking of public restroomsClean all mirrors, inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces; keeping all brass shinyClean elevator cabins, floors, tracks and buttons; clean escalator steps, tracks, walls, railingVacuum carpets and walk off mats and spot carpet where neededClean hard to reach surfaces like high ceilings, baseboards, air vents, high shelves, high windows, chandeliers, etc.Properly sanitize F&B countertops, surfaces and touch points; dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuumingWalk through F&B spaces to ensure cleanlinessClean and stock the Green Rooms and associated restrooms, before, during and after useActively assist in the safety and security of our guests and associates by reporting suspicious behavior/packages to Security or ManagementReturn and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping OfficeFollow all departmental policies and procedures and service standardsReport necessary maintenance itemsAdhere to local and externally relevant health and safety laws and policiesAdhere to SDS (Safety Data Sheet) information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplaceFamiliarize with all public restrooms, offices and meeting spaces within buildingFollow all safety and sanitation policiesOther duties as assignedWhat is in it for you: Discounted hotel rooms and food & beverage rates to employees at our sister properties around the globe.Learning programs through our Academies to promote growth and development so that you can perform at your full potentialOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the worldAbility to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 and WATCHHourly Rate: $32.75 (Break-In Rate applicable for New Hires as per CBA)Schedule based on Seniority and Business Needs Qualifications
