Business Development Manager - LV/MV Electrical Products $100k - $130k + Super + FMCV + High Comm
One of Australia's leading national distributors of automation and technological solutions has created a new position within their NSW team for 2025.
This permanent full-time role is a critical position that has come about due to strong growth and success and the company's plans for 2025 and beyond.
Currently employing over 300 people nationally, the business plays a strong part across all areas of LV, MV and even some HV.
This also crosses into the market sectors of mining, automation, energy, building services and industrial applications.
The Role You will become part of the greater Sydney and NSW team where you will focus on developing new business and maintaining relationships across Sydney primarily within the LV and MV space.
This is a highly autonomous role; however, due to the structure of the company, you will feel like you are part of a team and working towards a common goal.
You will be required to visit end users, conduct site visits, and consult with specific engineers to generate and grow strategic opportunities within Sydney.
You will help provide insights into the market on the products your company offers and bring the company's name to the forefront of the market.
You will provide a full range of low voltage and medium voltage solutions to protect, control, and measure a wide range of electrical installations, enclosures, switchboards, and electromechanical devices.
About You This role will really suit someone who is passionate about the electrical industry and new and emerging products and technologies and wants to provide their network with new information and solutions.
As well as the above, some requirements that will suit this position include the following:
Experience within a BDM role within electrical solutions, LV products, or MV products Strong technical understanding of motor control centres, drives, and power distribution systems A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Experience working with engineers and completing end-to-end sales cycles Exceptional presentation skills Driver's License Ability to demonstrate knowledge and specify solutions to end users On Offer Base Salary: $100k - $130k FMCV or Car Allowance: $18k Company Bonus Structure with high earnings designed to reward Opportunity for international event travel I will be reviewing CVs when we return in the second week of September.
