Contract ManagerLocation: Perth Office - CBD, WA, AU7 Jan 2025Contract Manager – Maximum Term – 24 months – Perth Office CBDWe are seeking a Contract Manager to drive the performance and successful delivery of complex, high-value contracts.
In this role, you will provide expert contract advice and ensure compliance with Western Power's Contract Management Framework.
Your focus will be on meeting contractual requirements related to safety, environmental standards, cost, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.By applying strong leadership and strategic oversight, you will optimize contract performance and contribute to the achievement of key business objectives.
If you have a background in contract management and a passion for delivering results, we would love to hear from youYour Role in ActionAccountable for driving the overall performance of assigned complex/high-value contracts and for providing subject matter expert contract advice and guidance.Ensure that all contracts are managed in line with Western Power's Contract Management Framework inclusive of the Procurement Policy and the Contract Management Standard ensuring that the following key activities are undertaken:Development of the CMP that fully meets the contractual requirements in line with the Contract Management Framework.Review the Contract Management engagement deliverables including the SHE risks register, scope of work, specifications, drawings, and pricing schedules.Ensure receipt and approval of the Contractor's plans in line with the contract.Monitor and manage compliance to the Contractor plans including:SafetyEnvironmentalQualitySchedulePricing ScheduleVerify and certify Contractors claims, including:ProgressVariationsEOTComplete Contractor performance reporting requirements.What Makes You a Great FitDegree or equivalent in Business, Law or Commerce.Broad and extensive knowledge and expertise and proven understanding of contract management.Significant contract management experience including high value/highly complex contracts.Strong working knowledge of and the ability to interpret legislation with regards to contract law.Ability to provide technical leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, complemented by influencing/negotiation skills.Strong experience in negotiation, conflict resolution, and managing public and stakeholder relations.The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels within a corporate environment.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
