SUMMARY OF THE ROLE This position is to support the Sales manager in promoting and selling Performance Coatings products to new/existing customers by developing strong customer relationships and utilizing Jotun sales tools and techniques to achieve budgeted sales, gross margin, and DSO, with the aim of increasing Jotun market share and profitability.
Responsibilities: Support the Sales manager to achieve sales targets by managing relationships with customers and pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts.Develop customer account plans for all assigned customers by identifying relevant customer needs and maintaining high customer satisfaction.Monitor the progress of projects, deliveries, or accounts closely with customers and contractors, resolving problems, responding to queries, and inspecting painting progress.Promote products, services, and solutions to owners and consultants through regular visits and product presentations.Follow-up on projects within allocated geographical territories and concept markets.Monitor collections to ensure customer payment is received within agreed terms.Liaise with the client market and respond to sales and technical inquiries.Meet personal sales and contribution targets.Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to win new business and increase sales turnover and profitability.Participate in sales meetings to develop and obtain information on sales objectives and market knowledge.Job Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant experience.Experience in Powder Coatings is preferred.Familiarity with the Australian local market for the industry.Willingness to travel.A relevant tertiary degree is a bonus.What We Offer: We are a fast-growing paint company with proven financial success.Career development encompassing on-the-job experiences and Jotun Academy, our in-house development academy.Best-in-class paint products that are unparalleled in quality.We are a values-driven organization where Loyalty, Care, Respect, and Boldness are core to our culture.Industry (or on-the-job) training will be provided for the successful candidate.Attractive company bonus structure.Car allowance.Annual leave loading.Company-paid Income Protection Insurance.POSITION INFORMATION Company: Jotun Australia Pty.
