We believe in the power of diverse perspectives and experiences in driving meaningful change and advancing human rights for all.About the role:You will be part of a dynamic and inclusive business enterprise to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to be employed alongside other trade-skilled team members.The Regional Operations Manager is accountable for ensuring excellent business customer outcomes by leading and coordinating the service delivery across broad regional and urban service areas in their allocated region, to ensure the best use of Facilities Management resources.
You will provide professional support and advice to equip teams to deliver operational excellence for facilities management including gardening, cleaning, and general maintenance across a wide variety of sites for our commercial and residential clients.The focus of this critical role is the effective financial and operational management of Facility Services.
They are expected to spend appropriate time across each service to ensure quality and excellence, safety and compliance, and the provision of supports in a high-quality environment.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the delivery of quality and timely services by monitoring customer contract terms for Facilities Management.Oversee the deployment of team members with the correct tools and equipment, managing scheduling for Service Delivery teams to meet contract requirements.Cultivate positive relationships with external customers, contractors, and suppliers.Demonstrate BRAVE Values in personal behaviours and leadership, influencing all employees to align with Aruma's vision and purpose.Uphold and adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, ensuring alignment with the Integrated Management System (IMS) protocols for quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.
Work collaboratively with the Quality, HSE and Environment Leads to maintain certification and continuously improve processes in line with IMS requirementEnsure that staff are suitably qualified, skilled, and coached in a positive and responsive work environment, fostering a capable and stable workforce within funding constraints whilst promoting and embedded our ISO documented system.Meet budget obligations, effectively managing utilisation targets and customer contracts to achieve organisational goals.Assure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, including safeguarding, while providing quality services efficiently and sustainably that are aligned to ISO standards..Provide appropriate coaching and mentoring, and allocate resources to Service Delivery Supervisors to enable them to meet or exceed service level agreements.Use appropriate reporting systems to address incidents, complaints, and feedback promptly, and manage hazards and risks to create a safe and compliant work environment.Promote an inclusive values-driven work culture that delivers excellent customer service and high performance through cooperation and collaboration.Model effective leadership and communication to establish Facilities Management as an Employer of Choice for people with disabilities, ensuring teams support individuals with flexibility and sensitivity.Lead new contract mobilization efforts to ensure operations are ready for go-live.In summary, the Operations Manager should embody BRAVE Values, foster a positive culture, ensure safety and compliance, manage resources effectively, and lead by example to provide quality services while meeting budgetary and contractual obligations.Benefits of working with ArumaSalary Packaging: Access to NFP salary packaging up to $15,900 for living expenses and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses each yeartax free.Fitness Passport: Access to subsidised Gym membershipEmployee Assistance Program: Free confidential service including Money Assist, Legal Assist, Family Assist and Nutrition/Lifestyle Assist.Training: Opportunity for Cert IV accredited training through our RTODiscounted Health Insurance: Access to a range of discounted health and wellness services through Bupa.Recognition & Rewards: Recognition for your hard work through BRAVE Reviews and our annual BRAVE Awards nightJob Satisfaction: Through making a real difference in peoples' lives within a values-driven organisation.About You:A Cert IV or higher in Horticulture (or other relevant trade certificate) or willingness to obtain.A Cert IV or higher in Leadership and Management or willingness to obtain and with a demonstrated ability to supervise and support teams.Experience in Project ManagementSound Microsoft Office skills and ability to effectively utilise databases for reporting and coordination.A current Australian driver's license, White card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.Willingness to travel as required across the allocated region.Experience working with people with disabilities, particularly in a service provision context.Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).A commitment to the Aruma Code of ConductSound communication and negotiation skills, able to resolve conflict and assess when to escalate issues appropriatelyProblem solving and technical skills to solve maintenance, contract, and scheduling issuesExcellent organisational skills and ability to coordinate and support teams that are working over a large geographical areaAbility to plan, monitor and action contract schedules in a timely manner, promoting quality, cost-effectiveness, and safe work practicesA practical understanding of WHS and NDIS requirements.Ready to make a change?
