We are rapidly building a reputation for growth and success based on an exceptional "YES WE CAN" customer service offering and quality product in the highly competitive market.About the RoleTo support our growth-focused approach, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Mackay branch.You will be working closely with the Field Sales Manager and Branch Manager, growing our business and market share in and around the Bundaberg region.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProactively seeking (cold calling) new customers.Negotiate supply contracts and close the dealAchieve new business sales targets.Networking relationships with appropriate industry professionals.Establish new business development strategies.Ensure all customer locations are compliant in accordance with relevant codes.BenefitsA friendly and supportive team environmentCompany reward and recognition programProfessional learning and development opportunitiesOpportunities for career progressionEmployee Assistance Program and Wellbeing initiativesSkills & ExperienceAccount Management experience.Proven ability to convert business through cold calling techniques.Experience in a similar role within the LPG industry would be highly advantageous.Strong communications skills.An understanding of safety and compliance within the LPG industry.National Police Check and Demerit Points Statement is required prior to commencement.The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.Most importantly at Supagas we value attitude above all else.
