We pride ourselves on creating the best content, accessed by consumers when and how they want.Nine's assets include the Nine Network, major mastheads such as The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review, Nine Radio, digital properties such as nine.com.au, 9Now, 9Honey, Pedestrian.TV, subscription video platform Stan and majority investments in Domain Group and Drive.Job DescriptionNine is seeking a Sales Executive to join our Audio team, working across linear, streaming and podcast platforms.The Sales Executive is the primary day-to-day contact for the media planner/buyer, and is ultimately responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our advertising agencies and clients and driving a revenue outcome for Nine.Day to day duties include:Creating targeted advertising schedules across all audio channels, based on briefs received from advertising agencies.Grow market share & revenue across your client base.Understand the market trading conditions and negotiate trading discounts in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.Facilitate the sale of program sponsorships, sports sponsorships and spot packages.Day-to-day contact with key agency contacts.Accommodate and prioritise a number of concurrent advertising campaigns.Problem solving within the context of the job.Lead, manage and mentor a Sales Coordinator.Being part of our Nine Sales team means you will benefit from:Competitive Sales Incentive Scheme that rewards and recognises performance & success.Sales Academy – our bespoke training and development program for Sales.Complimentary subscriptions to all our platforms including Sydney Morning Herald, AFR, The Age, Brisbane Times and WA today.Brand new offices in the heart of North Sydney – within our building are our news and filming studios where all the action happens - plus views of the HarbourExclusive invitations to Nine Events – whether you are a fan of Ninja Warrior or the NRL, it could be you sitting in the audienceQualificationsA thorough understanding of media systems and measurement metrics.Excellent communication and relationship management skills.Demonstrated experience within sales, within a client marketing department or within a media agency.Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.An appreciation of the market trading conditions and ability to negotiate trading discounts on casual business in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point.Proficiency in Google Suite is desirable.Additional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:At Nine, we are committed to fostering a workforce that embraces all aspects of diversity and inclusion and where practices are equitable to ensure our people experience a sense of belonging.
