We pride ourselves on creating the best content, accessed by consumers when and how they want.Job DescriptionNine is seeking a Sales Executive to join our Total TV team. The Sales Executive - TV is the primary day-to-day contact for the media planner/buyer, and is ultimately responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our advertising agencies and clients and driving a revenue outcome for Nine.Day to day duties include:Creating targeted advertising schedules across all broadcast channels based on briefs received from advertising agenciesGrow market share & revenue across your client baseUnderstand the market trading conditions and negotiate trading discounts in conjunction with the Group Business ManagerFacilitate the sale of program sponsorships, sports sponsorships and spot packagesDay-to-day contact with key agency contactsAccommodate and prioritise a number of concurrent advertising campaignsProblem solving within the context of the jobLead, manage and mentor a Sales CoordinatorBeing part of our Nine Sales team means you will benefit from:Competitive Sales Incentive Scheme that rewards and recognises performance & success.Sales Academy – our bespoke training and development program for Sales.Complimentary subscriptions to all our platforms including Sydney Morning Herald, AFR, The Age, Brisbane Times and WA today.Brand new offices in the heart of North Sydney – within our building are our news and filming studios where all the action happens - plus views of the HarbourExclusive invitations to Nine Events – whether you are a fan of Ninja Warrior or the NRL, it could be you sitting in the audienceQualificationsA thorough understanding of broadcast systems and measurement metricsExcellent communication and relationship management skillsDemonstrated experience within sales, within a client marketing department or within a media agencyHighly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrated organisational and time management skillsAn appreciation of the market trading conditions and ability to negotiate trading discounts on casual business in conjunction with the Group Business ManagerStrong numerical and analytical skillsIntermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power PointProficiency in Google Suite is desirableAdditional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:At Nine, we are committed to fostering a workforce that embraces all aspects of diversity and inclusion and where practices are equitable to ensure our people experience a sense of belonging.
