We are a leading construction contractor servicing Australia's leading brands and government departments.
We provide construction services in the public service, health infrastructure and education sectors.
We are looking for an Estimator and Site Manager to join our vibrant and growing team in the ACT and South Coast region who is available for an immediate start and is willing and able to travel.
A work ute will be provided to the Site Manager to facilitate travel.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator and Site Manager to work on commercial construction projects.
Immediate startFull-Time PositionKey Estimator responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review of tender documentation and/or scope of works to produce an accurate estimate for quoting purposes.Preparation of the work programme and methodology in line with the project scope and estimate/tender requirements.Preparation of estimation based tender requirements inclusive of schedules of rates, cost specific questions and programming questions.Ensure the Estimates are submitted on or before the deadlines.Product detailed construction programmes using Microsoft project based of tender scope of works and construction drawings.Ability to describe general approaches and construction methodology in delivering projects based on scope of works, drawings and client requirements.Ability to identify risks specifically related to project tenders, and how you propose to mitigate them on this proposed projects.
These are to be highly project-specific to demonstrate your understanding of the projects during tender.As a Site Manager, you'll be responsible for driving all aspects of the project forward, including: Programming, scheduling and forward planning.Providing supervision, coordination and leadership to all trades.Ensuring that OHS standards are adhered to on site.Ensure that projects progress on time and to a high standard.You must have at least five years' experience.
Most projects are in the education sector; experience therein will be favorably regarded.
A trade qualification or tertiary degree would be highly regarded in a related field.
You will need to be an energetic team player and have a proactive attitude to achieve results.
Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised.
Position includes superannuation, vehicle, laptop and phone.
You will be a part of a supportive and collaborative team.
