National Sales Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished National Sales Manager to join a leading organization in the construction space. Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven professional to lead their national sales strategy, expand market presence, and cultivate a high-performing sales team.
The Role:
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies. This role encompasses new business acquisition, customer retention, and market expansion, ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends.Manage sales plans, forecasts, and budgets to meet targets.Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key customers to drive satisfaction and loyalty.Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.Implement retention strategies and win-back initiatives for former clients.Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on opportunities in new regions or sectors.Collaborate with the Business Development team to secure new ventures.Monitor the competitive landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.Work closely with internal teams (Business Development, Marketing, Operations) to align sales efforts with business goals.Establish partnerships with external stakeholders for strategic deals and alliances.Revenue Generation: Drive sales initiatives and develop strategic partnerships to achieve revenue targets.Monitor performance metrics and adapt strategies to maintain growth.Mitigate risks such as market saturation or economic challenges.Lead, mentor, and inspire the national sales team to achieve exceptional results.Set performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and implement training programs.Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators.Leverage data and analytics to inform decisions and optimize sales strategies.Monitor sales trends, customer feedback, and market conditions to drive continuous improvement.Candidate Profile:
Our client is seeking a candidate with a proven track record in sales leadership and management, ideally within the plant hire, construction, or related industries.
