About the Role Reporting to the Central Operations Manager – Supply Chain, the DC Operations Project Lead will support and implement defined projects that support a safe and efficient working environment for all DC Operations across Australia and New Zealand.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Participating in defining and scoping safety initiatives with the Group Safety team and executing safety initiatives and projects.Providing advice as well as clear guidelines, time frames, and progress tracking to implement and embed a program of defined safety initiatives in conjunction with Group Safety.Aligning with Group Safety and Operational leadership teams on the implementation, overall delivery, and communication of safety-based project initiatives.Fostering a culture of continuous improvement.About you We are looking for a strong project coordinator with a good understanding of Safety and excellent stakeholder management skills.
In addition, you will have:
Demonstrated experience working on safety program implementation in an environment with large and complex operational risk and safety requirements.Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.Good analytical skills (including using MS Excel) with keen attention to detail.Experience working in retail or similar industries where Safety is a priority such as FMCG, manufacturing, utilities, construction, etc.Any Certifications in Safety or Project Management will be regarded.Your highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and strong customer focus will be key to this role.
