Macmahon is looking for a proactive HR Advisor to join our Underground Mining People Operations team.
Reporting to the People Superintendent, you'll deliver hands-on generalist HR support, partnering with leaders and employees to improve employee experience and business performance.
This role focuses on practical talent management, culture and compliance solutions helping our teams work effectively and grow.

About the role
Provide accurate advice, coaching and high-level support on all HR/ER related matters Manage or support workplace investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes Analyse and interpret data and HR metrics to identify workforce trends and understand and respond to workforce needs Partner with stakeholders to complete cyclical people activities Regular site traveland other projects as required (at least once a fortnight) Permanent full-time opportunity with growth and development opportunities About you
Certificate, Diploma, or bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field.
At least 5 years experience in a similar role, within the mining industry.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing employment legislation and HR policies and procedures.
Ability to work independently on an assigned portfolio of work but also as a collaborative team member.
Be able to travel to site on a semi-regular basis.
Experience using SuccessFactors (preferred but not essential).
