Product Support Specialist

The Opportunity:
Our client is an international Maritime and Defense Technology company with facilities across the globe.
They deliver technology solutions across all marine sectors including Merchant, Offshore, Subsea, Naval, and Defense.
We are seeking a Product Support Specialist to support our clients across Australia and worldwide.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our customers, offering remote product guidance, aftermarket sales, and assisting our clients with warranty & spare parts servicing.
A good mechanical or electrical engineering background will assist with this position given its technical nature.
You must be an Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position.
The Requirements:
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification will be highly advantageous for this position Coordinate Aftersales Customer Support both in Australia and Globally, offering technical advice, servicing, warranty assistance to the Maritime and Defense industries Plan sales strategies for our international customers and organise meetings to demonstrate the capabilities, with a solid technical knowledge Plan maintenance activities along with our operations teams, organise parts for customer delivery and warranty claims Manage key accounts, ensuring they receive first-class service Take ownership of customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact Assist senior stakeholders with their budgeting and forecasting responsibilities Maintain our CRM, keeping customer details, orders, and queries up to date at all times Arrange after sales service agreements with customers with the support of the Global Customer Management team Full training will be given; however, previous engineering experience with a customer focus is essential What's on Offer:
Base Salary range $120k - $150k + Super + Travel Allowance if required Hybrid working arrangements once you are trained and have established rapport with your colleagues and support staff Top training and development opportunities with a global organisation Only Work 35hrs per week Monday to Friday All lunches are paid at 1hr per day One paid RDO Day can be taken each month at a time to suit you, giving you an extra 12 days leave per year Full training will be given on products and systems Please apply by clicking the apply now button; only applicants who have full working rights in Australia will be considered for this position.
