About us: Dandy Premix Concrete Pty Ltd has over 30 years of experience in the production and supply of quality premixed concrete to customers in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Dandy Premix is excited to share we are building a bigger team to meet demands for our expanding business.
We are looking for an experienced Truck Mechanic to join us in our Cranbourne Workshop who is keen to contribute to the continued growth of the business.
About the Diesel Mechanic role: Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Mechanic is responsible for ongoing repairs and maintenance of the Dandy fleet.
The role will consist of scheduled and priority repairs along with preventative maintenance schedules and annual roadworthy inspections.
Diesel Mechanic duties will include: Maintain, service and repair company vehiclesDiagnose and repair faults and defects in vehiclesField servicing/breakdowns as requiredCarry out tasks at the highest standard possibleInspections and assessments on vehicles as required (including the completion of the relevant documentation)Conduct all activities in a safe mannerDiesel Mechanic skills and experience: Full Diesel Mechanic qualifications minimum 3 years' experienceTruck servicing abilityExperience with diagnosing and repairing faults and defects in vehiclesThe ability to follow direction and work autonomouslyExcellent organisational and problem-solving skillsPhysically fit for heavy workThe ability to work in a fast-paced environmentHeavy Vehicle Mechanics, Earthmoving Equipment highly regardedWhat we offer: We have an exciting Employee Benefits platform offering exclusive discounts on retail and healthcare as well as discounted gym memberships and novated leasing options.Access to Commonwealth Bank Workplace banking benefits.We engage and reward our employees with a monthly values awards program and recognition in our newsletter.Supportive environment, mentored by an experienced management team and working in a new modern workshop.Opportunity to work on new modern technology/equipment and on used equipment.Ongoing training and development opportunities.Company overalls and uniform provided.Well established business that promotes safety first.For further information please contact .
