With an outstanding culture at its core and its constant approach to developing their employees, they are seen as the leaders in the fire industry....and The RoleThis company is seeking a highly professional Service Manager to manage the DO AND CHARGE allocation section of their Sydney organisation.
The role will report directly to a highly experienced and supportive Operations Manager, and you will be managing 13 Fire Technicians and 1 coordinator.
The position will be predominantly office-based; however, it will also require you to meet commercial clients on-site occasionally.
This role will see you running the monthly toolbox meetings.
The company operates with the Pronto system, so experience with this is highly desired as well as other system knowledge as you will be liaising with subcontractors.Oversee the completion of jobs through to invoicing.Quoting and auditing branch pricing.Receive and respond to a high volume of service requests via phone, email, and the internal database.Manage and support technicians and coordinators.Ensure all jobs performed are compliant with the Fire Industry Standards.Uploading reports and test results to client web portals.Systems maintenance of the Service Management System (Pronto).New site setup and asset scheduling.Onboarding of new service staff and technicians.What You'll BringPrevious experience working as a senior technician, Service Manager, or Supervisor or similar role within a fire organisation will be required.Experience with supervising Dry Fire Systems works.Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.Sound knowledge across relevant building codes and Australian Standards.Strong people management skills including an ability to effectively manage and lead a team.Strong computer and communication skills.
