We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities.
About the Role As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in helping participants navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and achieve their goals.
You'll work closely with individuals, their families, and service providers to ensure participants receive the support they need to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement support plans tailored to each participant's unique needs and goals Coordinate and monitor various support services to ensure they align with participants' NDIS plans Liaise with service providers, health professionals, and other stakeholders Assist participants in understanding and maximizing their NDIS funding Provide guidance and advocacy for participants throughout their NDIS journey Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of participant interactions and progress Stay informed about NDIS policies, procedures, and local support services Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in social work, Disability Studies, Allied Health, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience working in disability services or a similar role In-depth understanding of the NDIS and its processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities Empathy and patience when working with people with diverse needs Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office suite Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle What We Offer A supportive and inclusive work environment Competitive salary package Flexible working arrangements The chance to make a real difference in people's lives If you're passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities and have the skills to navigate the NDIS landscape, we'd love to hear from you.
