Within Grow, our remit is Customer Acquisition and Engagement; working with stakeholders to enable new capabilities that help Xero scale and improve experiences for our external customers and internal users. We leverage systems like Intercom, Qualtrics, Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM), Marketing Cloud, CRM Analytics and other SaaS-based technologies to achieve strategic objectives. If you are a technology generalist and eager to own and deliver our roadmap, we encourage you to apply.Be part of a dynamic team at Xero; working on innovative projects that enhance customer engagement and experienceWhat you'll do:Design, build, and deliver tailored solutions to enhance and support the use of Intercom, ensuring sustainable and excellent engineering practices.Provide day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and support for the Intercom platform and its users.Collaborate within and across teams to design and deliver initiatives aimed at measuring and improving customer engagement.Support the development of integration solutions between Intercom and other systems such as Salesforce CRM.Build and maintain a reputation as a 'trusted advisor' across a range of internal stakeholders by advocating for best practice, and providing recommendations to optimize and increase use of the platform.Engage with and interact directly with Intercom representatives.What you'll bring:Ideally a strong understanding of Intercom or other customer service / communication platforms such as Pendo, UserPilot, or Qualtrics.Previous experience working with SaaS-based technologies and platforms, ideally in an agile fashion within a development function.Knowledge of web and mobile technologies would be a plusProven ability to develop and optimize integrated business processes across disparate systems.A curious mindset to tackle technical challenges and learn on the go across a range of SaaS based systems.If you're an experienced technology generalist or have experience as a digital media manager, we'd be interested in talking with you.Why Xero?Offering very generous paid leave to use however you'd like (plus statutory holidays), dedicated paid leave to care for your physical and mental wellbeing as well as an Employee Assistance Program to access mental health care for you and your family, health insurance, life insurance, and income protection, wellbeing and sports programmes, employee resource groups, 26 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers, an Employee Share Plan, beautiful offices, flexible working, career development, and many other benefits that reflect our human value, you'll do the best work of your life at Xero.Apply for this job
